About the designer

Etly Klarborg - the artist behind the Klarborg elfs and the Klarborg brand - has, for more than 35 years, sold and designed the beautiful, chubby Klarborg elfs. Since Etly opened her own shop in 1986, she has created more than 400 different unique designs, which are sold throughout Scandinavia. Etly Klarborg designs her elfs from the heart and with inspiration from the traditional Danish Christmas.

Klarborg is a Danish design brand, primarily known for its decorative and unique keepsake figurines. Best known is Etly Klarborg’s adventurous elfs, found in homes all over Scandinavia come Christmas time, sure to spread coziness and joy. Keeping to our proud design process, Etly sculpts each design by hand. As Etly starts the sculpting process, she has already envisioned the very specific personality traits associated with the new addition to our growing Klarborg elf family. Each design is inspired by friends and family, and our high-quality manufacturing process makes sure that every detail and color of Etly’s original design is preserved.
